The night before....

Late at night on the day before we leave. We are both surprisingly calm, Sky is propped up watching a movie - she has been packed for weeks and has nothing left to do. I on the other hand have an all nighter ahead of me, hours of paperwork and early morning email delegation. I am writing this as a procrastination tool instead of finishing my packing! You have to be very selective packing for 2 months when you have to carry your own bags!
I am leaving knowing that my home and garden are in the expert hands of Nelson and Dani who worked wonders in the garden in just one afternoon. The most exciting discovery we made today was a vast burrow of some sort right under where the chicken coop was until just this morning. A fox was the first likely suspect and we managed to rescue the chickens when it was only inches away from having access to the tasty morsels that lay our eggs every day. Seeing as we don't actually have any of these in New Zealand, I am picking it was a very large rabbit?
